Nokia Inc. announces the release of Treasure Tag. The device is fixed to some valuable things – for example, keys, wallets or bags. If one of these things is left anywhere, Treasure Tag pushes a notification to your smartphone.

Treasure Tag is a miniature accessory, which boasts its perfect form and fashionable look. The device is approximately the size of a match box and weighs just 13g. It works together with the Nokia Lumia, to which a special app should be launched.

Your smartphone connects to a Treasure Tag via NFC or Bluetooth. When the connection is broken both devices emit a loud tone to alert you that one of the devices is left or lost. So the Treasure Tag allows you to control not only your keys and wallet but also your smartphone.

It will be possible to buy a Treasure Tag at a price of $30 in April 2014.
